Or maybe you ask your healthcare provider and after you leave your appointment you have a million more questions. Of course your friends and family members will always have advice and suggestions.

As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I will provide support and education to help you with breastfeeding your newborn. If you're having trouble breastfeeding, need some tips or just have general questions, I'm here to help. Book a lactation counseling session below.

What is a Doula?
A doula is a trained professional that gives advice, information, support, and comfort to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth. Studies show that "continuous support during labor has clinically meaningful benefits for women and infants and no known harm. All women should have support throughout labour and birth".

Support Throughout Your Pregnancy and Beyond
As your doula, I am here to support you and you needs. I will be your champion throughout your pregnancy as well as in the early postpartum period. You will receive emotional support, physical support and comfort measures, education, breastfeeding assistance, and encouragement. We will explore your birth preferences also known as a birth plan. I will advocate for you and help you communicate with health providers to make sure you are achieving the most positive birth outcome.
